Under the motto of reunification, the wooden hand was set up above Treffurt, at the Normannstein hiking car park. It is intended as a reminder of the not always easy regional rapprochement between East and West, and globally of the not always peaceful coexistence of people.

On the Advent weekends (Saturdays 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m Sundays 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.) you will find three mulled wine huts on the ascent/descent path between Treffurt and Normannstein Castle. Nice idea to warm up and relatively inexpensive mulled wine.

Unfortunately, I have to say it like this: Sensationally cool up there. First climbed up the lookout tower and then took a long break below on the relax bench, enjoyed the view and simply enjoyed the silence. It's just an amazing place.
