The Park Cave is a subterranean tunnel system in the Park an der Ilm. It is located twelve meters below the ground between the steep slope of the Ilm River and Belvederer Allee. A staircase near the Liszt House leads down to the tunnel, which ends at the so-called "Needle's Eye," an artificially created rock arch on the Ilm River.

Ordering a coffee and looking down into the valley is wonderful.

Jena Forest House: The observatory is being renovated; the forest house offers excellent food and drink. Inside, you can see a very rare rascal (also known as a wolperdinger in the Alpine region)! Check opening hours and call ahead if necessary. The Bismarck Tower, about 1.5 km away, can also be entered at certain times. Don't forget your tour stamp 201!

Jena: Forestry tower with forester's house. In the restaurant you can admire what is probably the last rattle goat in the Jena area. In earlier times, around 1965 to 1978, there was one in the old "Paper Mill" restaurant.

With children it is a very educational path in the Jena forest and easy to walk
