On the last day, we enjoyed a wonderful hike with many beautiful views of the Ore Mountains. Numerous hiking trails start right from the hotel. There's also a bus stop right outside, and the bus ride is free with the guest card. The hotel offers excellent value for money and is highly recommended for a relaxing holiday.

After our tour of Seiffen, the walk in Neuhausen was relaxing.
Unfortunately, the town, which we knew from previous holidays, is very run-down. Many shops and restaurants are closed. One bright spot is Purschenstein Castle, which has been beautifully restored.

Brief summary!
Everything was very pretty to look at, lots of people, everything overpriced, parking fees €10 - luckily free for 2 hours at the Penny supermarket. It wasn't for us hiking enthusiasts.

From the hotel, we followed the ridge trail to the Teichhaus (Pond House). Then we crossed into Moldava (Czech Republic). Today's hike took us along the other side of the Saale River to tour stamp station 198, Hohe Lehde, passing the Sophienterrasse. A worthwhile destination.
Along the way, there are wonderful views of the Dornburg Castles.
