The Eistobel is worth a visit in summer and winter, but in winter only with suitable equipment and sure-footedness! There are a lot of icy areas, especially at the waterfalls.

The Falltobelweg meanders wildly and romantically through the valley to the Niedersonthofen waterfall. Initially still easy to walk, the incline soon becomes steeper and there are sometimes steep ascents and descents over more or less paved paths and roots. Nothing for a trip in sandals - surefootedness and sturdy shoes are required!
