The coots are still there and can be easily observed. However, the large Kaltentalweiher pond is almost completely covered in silt. There are a few benches here, but now in May they are almost completely taken over by nettles. Next to the benches is a memorial stone commemorating Siegfried Palmer (1929-2018), former forestry director in Bad Urach from 1963 to 1976.

A small pond shared today by two drakes. It was a great observation from the only bench set up on the bank.

This small pond is located in the rear part of a side valley of the Kaltental valley. Although small, it is very idyllic.

The small cabbage pond was already frozen over today and lay very still and peaceful in the sleeping winter nature.

Very beautiful small lake, located on the bike or hiking trail from Bad Urach to Hülben or to the Lauereckfels/Falkensteiner Höhle.
