Fantastic route that runs through the valley in a relaxed manner (because it's flat) - highly recommended for all types of bikes and without any technical challenges - definitely an enjoyable route for those who take it easy and an opportunity for RR and Gravel to let it run properly.

Great route through nature, past many wildflower meadows.

Wonderful gorge, both for hikers and cyclists. The Alb ascent via the Trailfinger Gorge is very moderate compared to many other ascents and can be easily done with pretty much all types of bikes except racing bikes. However, there are already several highlights in the Trailfinger Gorge. Why new ones keep being created here is beyond me. 😏

The ruin has an observation tower. Great view along the Ermstal

An absolute highlight for bikers: good rideable gravel and gravel surface, almost even gradient without ramps, plus the Ermsquelle and shortly afterwards a fantastic rock and cave section right on the way. In the shade all year round, therefore an insider tip especially in midsummer.

It's a very quiet path. Cows and sheep can be seen in the pastures.
