A really worthwhile highlight. Even though the mountain is not really high, there is something special about this place. Maybe because it's so well hidden and looks so well cared for in the middle of nowhere?

Anyone looking for the quickest route to the Elbe from Blankeneser Landstraße will likely take Falkentaler Weg, passing through Schinckels Park north of Waseberg. The influential Hamburg banker Maximilian Heinrich von Schinckel once lived here with his family. (Source: https://www.hamburg.de)

Around the Süllberg is the Blankeneser stairs district, if you are good on foot you should take your time and explore the many stairs, including a fantastic view of the houses and the Elbe. With the so-called mountain goat, a small bus of the Hochbahn / HVV, you can get from the Blankeneser train station to the Strandweg and back when your condition is at the end 😉
