A huge hollow in the woods with several runs – it's also possible to ski along the top edge. The hollow is about 80 meters long, approximately 25 meters wide, and about 6-8 meters high at the edge. Also great for sledding in winter.

The Dalbek Gorge is a beautiful nature reserve and a paradise for mountain bikers. It offers many types of trails that you can ride and are confident you can handle. The Dalbek Gorge Nature Reserve extends across the municipalities of Börnsen, Escheburg, and Kröppelshagen. It is characterized by a gorge forest, crisscrossed by the Dalbek River, which has been preserved in its original form and features distinctive meanders. The forest consists primarily of deciduous trees, with the common beech predominant. The fascinating thing about the Dalbek Valley is its beauty, especially in spring. From here you have a beautiful view of the Wolfsschlucht. Wolfsschlucht sounds spectacular, but it isn't. You won't see wolves here anymore - or will you soon? In any case, it is a beautiful piece of earth and there are beautiful cycling and hiking trails along the Wolfsschlucht.
