The North Sea coast of Germany and the Wadden Sea are a paradise for nature and bird lovers. Depending on the season, a wide variety of bird species can be observed. In winter, for example, arctic goose species can be found on the North Sea coast, which come to spend the winter in the Wadden Sea. Waders are also often represented on the coast, not only during migration times. Redshanks, black-tailed godwits and snipes, for example, also breed on the North Sea coast. That's why I come to this area at least once a year. At this point I would like to introduce you to some beautiful places in East Friesland and North Friesland for bird watching. In addition, the island of Heligoland with its extraordinary feathered inhabitants is something very special.
