At Junction 27 in Westerloh, we found this much-anticipated refreshment! Great! Beer, non-alcoholic beer, juice boxes, water, and a small Aperol mix were available. We also met the boy whose father built this structure and regularly refills it. It's great that someone thought of this and is taking care of it :)

A great shelter, lovingly designed and very well maintained, with a beautiful wooden bridge in front of it, simply great!!!

The Theikenmeer is a bird sanctuary and is a little hidden

The weather shelter is easily accessible by bike. There is a separate picnic table next to the hut.

A short side path leads to the bird watching hut. A few steps take you to the observation hut with seating and information boards about the birds to be observed. You have a wide view over the Theikenmeer.
