Depending on the season, numerous birds can be seen from the closed bird watching stand.

From February 2024, the restaurant will be open again on weekends, Saturday from 12 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m

The Harlyberg or Harly (also Harli and Harliberg) is a 256 m above sea level. NHN high and around 6.5 km² large ridge near Vienenburg in south-eastern Lower Saxony. It is mainly in the district of Goslar, its north-western part protrudes into the district of Wolfenbüttel. Its forest cover is known as Harly Forest. In addition to the highest elevation of the Harlyberg of the same name, there are other nameless crests. The Harlyturm observation tower is on the summit, while the herb August cave is located in the valley to the west of the summit.
