In the 16th century, the Dukes of Braunschweig had Paul Francke expand the castle complex into a magnificent four-wing palace complex in the Renaissance style. a wonderfully presented area of the old imperial palace / Werlaburg. The site is relatively large and has numerous information boards on the history of the castle and the earth. A visit is worthwhile, but you should plan a little time, because the history is very extensive.

The villa rises high on the hill in the center of Seeliger Park.
