The local recreation area Hambörn Südergellersen is located one and a half kilometers west of the village Südergellersen and is very varied: Species-rich grassland, small heather areas, the Bürgerwald Südergellersen, a lookout tower (on which you can see as far as Lüneburg and further) and the Hambörn funeral forest are to be found here Find.
