The hiking trail "Hohes Elbufer" (W30) also runs along here, which I can highly recommend at this point. A nice place for a little rest with bench and information board. In the event of a surprising rain shower, you'll be happy if you know the little shelter and can find it here.

A narrow, inconspicuous path leads to the banks of the Fehlingsbleck. Here is a hut from where you can watch waterfowl. A board with pictures of the native birdlife helps with identification.
