A narrow, inconspicuous path leads to the banks of the Fehlingsbleck. Here is a hut from where you can watch waterfowl. A board with pictures of the native birdlife helps with identification.

Beautiful lake directly on the Elbe-Seiten-Kanal with good water quality - admission is free! The north side of the Inselsee in Scharnebeck is open for swimming again! The DLRG monitors the lake on weekends. There is a sandy beach on the bathing bay. Large lawns with shady trees invite you to linger. A nudist area has been set up. Barbecue areas and mobile toilets are available. On sunny days, drinks, ice cream and snacks are available from a kiosk. The natural zones offer a habitat for water birds and fish.
