An unusually spacious bathing area with a large park in front. Plenty of seating and tables! A very pleasant stay in any case. The lake view is fantastic. Swimming is pure pleasure here, but treading water is also very possible. The entrance looks closed from a distance, but that's deceptive. It's a public area that's frequently used for events, such as concerts in the adjacent monastery ruins.

Beautiful, natural circular hiking trail around the Großer and Kleiner Klobichsee lakes. Signposted as "Großer Rundwanderweg um den Klobichsee" (yellow dot on a white background). Quaint & beautiful... The campsite is a good starting/ending point, where there is also a small, simple snack bar and restrooms. The beautiful beach is also highly recommended. Despite the summer holidays, we were alone on the circular hike... Wonderfully quiet and enchantingly beautiful.

The bathing area is located on the monastery lake. The bathing area includes jetties and a spacious play and sunbathing lawn. The bathing area is centrally located in the town, right near the monastery ruins, monastery church and monastery tavern.

From this observation tower you can have a beautiful view over the Kiezer See and the bird sanctuary. With binoculars you can watch the birds. And early risers can watch the sunrise 🌄.

Lots of water birds can be observed up close. Be careful after heavy rain, then the path can only be done pushing and barefoot (flooding and mud)

Beautiful hike on and around the Klobichsee. Unfortunately, no places to stop for refreshments!

Here you can balance across the canal over an old thick and wide tree trunk and walk or bike directly along the lake on the dam in between.
