Föhren Castle dates back to the 14th century and was last rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1663. The castle complex includes the tithe barn that has been converted and restored into an event space, the actual main building, in whose large hall the registry office is located, and the outbuilding that has been converted into a holiday apartment. The Schloss Grünhaus houses a winery (www.maximingruenhaus.de). The beginnings of the winery date back to the 16th century. In the premises of the castle is also a branch of the registry office Ruwer.

Around the year 1760, the family of Pidoll had a Baroque castle built northwest of Quint. It served as the residential and administrative building of the director of Quinter Eisenhütte, which was later purchased by Klöckner-Werke AG. Together with the Kaiserhammer and Wolfskaulweiher, this castle is a piece of industrial history in the Trier region. Currently the castle is for sale.
