We had early morning fog, so I can't comment on the view. The hut itself is simple, with benches all around. It's perfectly adequate for a snack break and shelter from the rain.

A large barbecue hut, in which many people can find space and celebrate comfortably. From the seats in front of the hut you have a wonderful view of the surroundings and the Moselle. In good weather, groups can start additional activities in the open space.

Nice break with wine sales from the Biewers winery in Fellerich directly on the Moselsteig. A place to linger, so plan additional time for the stage of the Moselsteig Trail.

First beautiful view when you start the tour from this side. However, the refuge no longer exists.
