The zigzag path on the Potzberg, also known as the Presidential or Snake Path, leads up the mountain in several switchbacks and offers a pleasant incline thanks to its serpentine route. The path owes its name to its characteristic course and the fact that high-ranking visitors, including presidents, used to take this route to the summit.

The Potzberg Tower: The tower was built in 1952 and inaugurated on July 13, 1952. The climb up the 35 m high tower is worth it; once you get to the top you have a wonderful panoramic view. The viewing platform is open from March to October from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Potzberg hiking trail: Is also highly recommended; the length of the circular hiking trail can be individually adjusted; shortcuts are signposted for this. Really beautiful cross! However, for the reasons mentioned above, it doesn't really give you that "summit feeling"...
