Very nice lovingly designed hut. A path leads down from the Jüngstberg to the Jagdhütte and from there you can reach the Drachenfelshütte at the foot of the Heidenberg.

The Col du Pigeonnier is located on the D 3 at an altitude of 432 m between Wissembourg and Climbach in the Northern Vosges, in the Bas-Rhin. The road passes between the summits of the Scherhol, on which was established until the Second World War a tower of the Vosges Club, and the Eselsberg.

A beautiful rest area, lovingly cared for and even with flowers in the balcony box.

There is good and inexpensive food here, a children's playground and lots of seating that invite you to take a break. Usually open on Saturday and Sunday. Additionally in summer on Wednesday. After a break, the last steep ascent to Drachenfels Castle can be tackled.

The hut even has flower boxes, a great resting place.
