The trail passes this small waterfall and the shelter. Unfortunately, there was trash at the shelter and at this beautiful spot. It's a shame, but that doesn't have to happen! Take your trash with you!

If you leave the water show path at the "Quellen" sign for a few meters, you will come to a small waterfall. It is one of the many tributaries from hillside springs.

Through the beautiful natural landscape you come to the Celtic shower, as the natural monument is called and where water flows from a rock formation. A nice place to take a break.

Through the natural monument Elendsklamm and the beginning of the Sickinger Höhe with the pigeon head on the German premium hiking trail. Impressive gorge with a “primeval forest”, which is a unique habitat for rare animal and plant species. The path along the gorge is well developed and secured with railings, bridges and steps. When inspecting in late autumn and winter, make sure that you have weather-appropriate equipment. In midsummer the gorge offers a welcome cool hiking trail.

Around here there is not only the Celtic Path, but the Mühlenweg in Wallhalbtal also passes by. We not only experience the village with meadows and forest, but also water in various forms, one of which is called a “Celtic shower” and means water dripping from the rock. The Celtic shower is a huge rock massif with a resting place.
