PWV Hütte, here there is good wine and delicious food made according to grandma's recipe. Here it is still quaint, a slightly smaller indoor area, large outdoor area with children's playground. On quiet evenings you can also see one or the other wild animal in the nearby clearing. A large hiking car park is nearby, ideal for seniors or small children for mini hikes. The Laurahütte was built in 1845 by Wilhelm Retzer, district judge from Freinsheim, as a hunting and shelter hut above Leistadt at an altitude of 370 meters in his private forest in red sandstone. The hut was named in honor of his wife Laura. Seats and a beautiful view of the Rhine plain.
