The Snail Tower was built in 1884 and is located very close to the watchtower in the Schillerhain park. It offers a beautiful view over Kirchheimbolanden, the Donnersberg, and the Rhenish-Hessian hills. The small observation tower, in the form of a pavilion at the highest point of the tower, was donated in 1891 by the brothers Karl and Heinrich Giessen.

It's always good to know where a shelter is. A nice place for a rest.
