The Snail Tower was built in 1884 and is located very close to the watchtower in the Schillerhain park. It offers a beautiful view over Kirchheimbolanden, the Donnersberg, and the Rhenish-Hessian hills. The small observation tower, in the form of a pavilion at the highest point of the tower, was donated in 1891 by the brothers Karl and Heinrich Giessen.

The Naturfreundehaus Flonheim is an ideal place for a coffee and cake break. Please note: only open on Sundays and public holidays! A little further up is the Schauinsland viewpoint, which can be reached on foot. The Naturfreundehaus also has a rest area and playground. A very beautiful, large, and open-plan vineyard house. There are several seating areas (some of which are covered) and table groups for a rest with a wonderful view of the vineyards.
