📝 This hut is more than just a rest stop: Along the path in front of it, portraits of Roman emperors line the so-called "Kaiserallee" (Emperor's Alley). Each stone depicts a stylized face and name from antiquity. A tranquil spot with a historic flair and lovingly designed, it's perfect for a break with a look back in time. 💡 Tip: Read the names of the emperors carefully – a little history lesson in the great outdoors.

The Waldhaus is a barbecue hut in the Baumholder city forest. The forest house in the Baumholder city forest can be rented from the city (Tel: 06783 - 98 11 40). There is water and electricity and the possibility to grill. Indoor and outdoor seating invite you to linger and rest. The rest area is located on the "Bärenbachpfad" dream loop. The town of Baumholder has two huts with barbecue areas in the "Gärtel": the "Waldhaus" and the "Nöhringhütte". Both cabins are equipped with toilets. The forest house also has a generator that is used for power supply, lighting and toilet flushing. The huts can be rented by the day from the city office.
