Coming from Henau, the steps in the direction of Schwarzerden are very steep and wet. Challenging to drive but also easy to push and definitely worth a little detour and some effort. A really great place to stay.

Beautiful tour (walked clockwise), but you should not choose the descent from Ruine Koppenstein (via the Steinbrockenfeld/Bone Crusher Path) in the rain or if it was very wet beforehand. In my opinion, this is far too dangerous, e.g. because there is a risk of falling onto the boulders and there is a high risk of injury. Rescuing from an injured situation is almost impossible there. In any case, hiking poles are extremely helpful, if not mandatory.

If it's wet, please be careful, the bridge is very slippery. Iron sticking out on the steps. Watch after !!!!
