At the current location of the Hieberg Tower, there used to be a Wingertshäuschen made of field stones to protect against bad weather. A new shelter was built on the old foundations in the 1960s. The Hieberg tower was created as a result of later construction work.

Unfortunately, the refrigerator is missing. And that is exactly what made the hut something special.

In June 2022 this hut was locked and only 2 benches were in front of it. However, on the other side of the Selz there is the Vinomaten from Weingut Schuck, which seems to be available all year round.
