The fitness trail is in a wonderful location and runs in a circuit across the forest with relatively easy up and down stretches. In November weather, however, you should not wear slippery shoes, it slips quite a bit. Then once you find the first station (which gave me some trouble) it's easy to follow the trail. The Naturfreundehaus Deisterhütte is a cozy hostel. Directly adjacent are some children's play equipment and a large sandbox for the little ones. For older children and young people there is a sports field, a volleyball court and a campsite. A multi-generation place completes the offer. You can hike on many circular routes that start here. There is also a bird trail and a forest trail.

Be careful, sometimes mountain bikers shoot past here at high speed, so be careful when leaving the hut. 😮
