In addition to delicacies, you can also buy excellent coffee here and enjoy it on the bench in front of the house in the shade of an old chestnut tree - also a great shelter from the rain!

Delicious beer and food (sausages, cheese) but unfortunately no slices of bread and I haven't found any shandy yet either, :-)

"A temple dedicated to free nature" ...the Druid Temple, as the Monopteros is also called, is not dedicated to any deity, but to nature alone. ...the Monopteros was the first decorative building in the grove. In the spring of 1804... the round temple was moved to its current location at Steinwöhrlein; previously it had stood in the garden of Seehof Castle. ...its appearance has changed over time. ...the most serious intervention, however, took place in 1973 with the construction of the Hain Bridge. A small, signposted self-service hut with a trust fund. Very good selection of drinks, sausage, cheese, chocolate and flour.

Here the hiker can take a break and stock up on chilled drinks, sausage and chocolate. He can take home wine, honey, tea and all sorts of other goodies - all organic. Payment is made to a trusted cash register.

Unfortunately, "Dein Dornig" is closed. On the website www.dein-dornig.de there is no great hope of being able to offer a solution to the problem this year. The dry spell on Franconia's hiking trails is being extended again by a large amount.

Very nice complex with the temple and the modern stone steps and blocks under the bridge of the Munich Ring.

The monopteros or druid temple was the first decoration building in the grove. In the spring of 1804 the round temple was moved to its current location on the Steinwöhrlein, previously it had stood in the garden of Seehof Palace.
