Along the hiking trails in the Vulkaneifel you will always come across “de luxe” rest areas with cozy barbecue huts. So pack some grilled food if you have a little time. Wildly romantic stone bridges also often cross your path: sometimes you go under them, sometimes over them.

Of the many mills that once stood here you can not see much, was a little disappointed! Göbel's mill is managed and there is delicious mill beer here. The other mills are privately owned and not accessible. Very scenic valley in the along the water.
