When we visited on Saturday, July 19, 2025, it was closed at around 2:00 PM, even though the opening hours outside stated "Saturday 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM." ;-( It's a shame, because we were looking forward to a delicious meal based on the good reviews.

Wonderful stop. Tarte flambée, waffles, cakes and an extensive selection of drinks. Unfortunately, the operators will close on December 31, 2023 for health reasons.

The grill hut is located east of Bodenbach in a small, old quarry called Steinkaul. Due to the very idyllic and quiet location outside of the village, the celebrations here are particularly romantic and stylish. The evening scenery with the illuminated rock face is particularly impressive. Rental inquiries via the local community of Bodenbach

Welcome place for a short break. When the weather is nice, a table with benches invites you to a picnic outside, when the weather is bad you can crawl into the hut.

This refuge offers around 12 - 14 visitors seating and shelter in the event of an unexpected rain shower. In front of the shelter there is a rest area consisting of a table with two benches.
