I felt like I was in a mountain hut in the Alps.

The EVA tower was built in 2004. In the meantime the trees around have grown so much that the view is obstructed.

From the vantage point "Bunte Kuh" you have a fantastic view of the beautiful Ahr valley.

Unfortunately, the trees have grown so tall that you can no longer see much of the all-round view. A refuge offers space to rest. Everything in good condition

Spectacular view over the Ahr Mountains and into the beautiful Ahr Valley! When the weather is clear you can see the Siebengebirge in the distance.

The ascent to the Krausberg Tower is challenging - both from Dernau and from Walporzheim ...; Once at the top you will be rewarded with a spectacular, breathtaking 360 ° view and distant view (e.g. into the Ahr valley on Dernau or to Cologne). The place invites - also for families - to linger. There is a restaurant (currently still closed due to Corona) with nice seating and a great playground. So, get out into nature.

When the weather is nice you have a stunning all-round view - z. B. to Cologne
