The hut, which is located above Adenau, is dedicated to Clemens de Lassaulx, the chief forester of Adenau. In the 19th century, de Lassaulx became known as the "Father of the Eifel Forest".

The grill hut is located east of Bodenbach in a small, old quarry called Steinkaul. Due to the very idyllic and quiet location outside of the village, the celebrations here are particularly romantic and stylish.
