Beautifully quiet pond owned by the Hirschau Fishing Club. A great place to take a short break and unwind. In spring, when the water warms up a bit, the fish (carp, grass carp, tench, shad, eels, and zander) become very active and jump right out of the beloved water.

Magnificent stretch of track in a superb area

This pond got its name based on the "fast gallows" that used to stand here. The Vilseck Chronicle describes: "Some Vilseckers, who only obeyed laws and regulations when they brought them advantages, could easily be forced and encouraged through a" quick gallows treatment "to serve the welfare of all again in their lives. ) The quick gallows was an effective means of coercion.
