It's a great place to watch the currents converge here. There's also a great shelter with a fire pit.

The owner is super sweet and puts a lot of heart and soul into preparing everything herself. A lovely place to take a break and have something to eat and drink.

The barbecue area is beautifully situated, right on the shore. There are benches and a covered hut for when it rains.

Where possible, deviate from the main route and follow it along the water. Very adventurous, not straight forward paths but there is some gymnastics involved. Ultimately, beautiful places to stay on the water and a real adventure.

Very nice place for a break. Small gravel bench where you can rest and enjoy your snack. Of course, there's nothing wrong with cooling off in the water.

The snack station at the Pfänder. Spreadable sausage in a glass to take away. Drinks and food also in vending machines. Open 24 hours.

The view from up here of Lake Constance and the Rhine Valley as well as Appenzellerland is magnificent. Not to forget the Fessler Hof with its snack bar and really good butcher's shop.
