Slope, waterfall, bridges, lots of steps - the ladder to heaven in the hidden valley near Rohrdorf is a challenging, steep and great section of the trail to/from the Adelegg

Hiking trail still closed. Unfortunately we discovered the sign much (!) too late because we started walking in the other direction. Walked through fallen trees. Through the wild stream (without a bridge)... Not for the faint-hearted. But doable 😂

I wanted to hike to the waterfalls today (13.7.24), but the path was closed, with no indication of duration or reason.

When cycling on the Isny-Bähnle-Trasse you should stop here briefly. You have to walk to the waterfall, but cooling off with your feet is just heavenly, especially in summer. There is also a shady seating area with a table and benches.
