This sign is appropriate for the Hülbe. However, access to it is not easy. A narrow path very close to the bank leads there. In bad weather there is a danger of slipping into the water.

English Forest is part of Castle Taxis. Unfortunately, it is more or less left to its own devices and its "heydays" are behind it for the time being. At the small lake there used to be e.g. water lilies. But maybe that will change at some point...

The Schmaudersgrube is an old bean ore pit. Nice and quiet location in the middle of the forest with a bench to linger. The display case with floor polish as content is also interesting.

Although it is a lake in the forest, it is by no means a forest lake, as the information board explains. Anyway, it's a very nice and peaceful place with a bench to relax
