At 552 m, the Schellenberg is the highest elevation in Lower Bavaria south of the Danube. At the foot of the house lies the Inn Valley with the Bavarian towns of Simbach am Inn, Kirchdorf, Ritzing, Julbach and the Austrian towns of Braunau, Ranshofen, Neukirchen and many more.
