The spa park in the Hessian state capital Wiesbaden was laid out in 1852 in the style of an English landscape garden. It extends over an area of 75,000 m² in the valley of the Rambach from the spa house in the city center (Kureck) to the center of Sonnenberg. From the fenced spa park area, the spa complex leads through the Rambach valley with another pond. The Aukamm valley flows into the Rambach valley. The spa park and the Rambach valley are bordered on the sides by Sonnenberger Strasse in the north and Parkstrasse in the south. Large villa areas from the Wilhelminian era extend along the slopes around the spa park. The regularly planted flower bed by the pond has been replaced by an easy-care bush rose field. The blossoming splendor of the rhododendron population has suffered for years from bud infestation. Only the numerous magnolias enchant the spa park with a sea of flowers at the beginning of April.
