Shortest but also steepest ascent to the Jochbergalmen. After the rain in the summer of 2021, the lower two thirds of the trail are in great shape again by the beginning of September. Thanks to the many helpers who made this possible. The upper third, a mountain climb anyway, is currently only recommended for sure-footed hikers. If necessary, the somewhat longer climbs north or south of the Kaltenbach (see Komoot map) are recommended, especially with children. After the ascent you will be rewarded by the view both to the east and to the west, not to mention the delicious snacks on offer at the two alpine pastures.

On hot days a nice cool ascent always along the torrent. Great and varied for children. Count the waterfalls - that's quite a lot. Some over 10 meters high.
