Location and surroundings: The hut is located in a quiet, secluded location on the edge of the Westerholz nature reserve on the east bank of the Lech. This location makes it the ideal starting point for hikes, bike tours and nature exploration along the Lech and in the surrounding forests. Facilities and offers: The Oskar-Weinert-Haus offers overnight accommodation and is partially managed, with drinks, sausages, coffee and cake. It has sleeping places and a self-catering kitchen that allows groups to cater for themselves. There is also a children's playground and nearby sports facilities such as outdoor and indoor pools. A visit to the Oskar-Weinert-Haus offers the opportunity to enjoy nature, relax and take part in a wide range of activities.

The Nature Friends House or Oskar Weinert House served as a very nice, quiet resting place for us. Not far from the "main path" and very idyllic. From time to time it is also open and food and drinks are offered. Unfortunately it was closed when we visited. Nevertheless, the little detour was worth it.
