All that's left of the former small castle is the castle hill. However, the path leading there, over a small arched bridge, is quite picturesque.

A bridge with a sandstone vault leads to the Schildeck ruins opposite the Schildmühle. They were first mentioned in documents in 1355. Only a few rows of stones from the foundation wall are still visible. The round castle plateau was only 15 m in diameter.
