The refuge has a patron: Robbie. It is unclear why it was named after him. The Osterbek river flows next to it.

There is a great vending machine here with organic drinks and snacks. The prices are fair and you can pay with change, banknotes and by card (contactless). Outside there are a few benches with tables and also a small covered area where you can sit down. After the restaurants in the area were not open as stated on the internet, the Regiomat saved me from hypoglycemia on my tour. I have a clear recommendation!

Very good food and even in the afternoon there is still hot food. The staff is very friendly and even as a single guest I was warmly welcomed despite several groups and a full house. The landscape of the restaurant is also very beautiful and right on the edge of the Hüttener mountains.

The Rammsee near Brekendorf is one of the lakes in Schleswig-Holstein and is located south of Schleswig. It is one of the dead ice lakes that formed during the last ice age.
