Info: In 1972, an open-air stage was built in the palace gardens, and in 1974, a gondola pond with a dam was built in the "Seußlitzer Grund" area. Unfortunately, gondola service had to be discontinued a few years ago due to lack of demand. The "Seußlitzer Grund" has been a nature reserve since 1960 and is now a special protection area under the Habitats Directive (FFH).

The devil also seemed to have had a hand in shaping the landscape in Mühlberg and the surrounding area. In contrast to Lusatia, nothing here is built on coal, but on lots of sand and gravel.
