The Hohburg is located on the Börner peninsula on the Westensee. Many years ago, a robber baron's castle stood nearby - hence the name. There is not much left of the castle today. Only the ring wall remains. Across the Börner, where the new pump stands today, a wall can still be seen. It was probably reinforced with a palisade fence to protect the castle from the land side. Today, there are three small huts here. Youth groups etc. can spend the night here in nature.
