The Hauserbachsee, created in 1970 by building a dam, is a reservoir near Miehlen that is about 500 meters long and over 8 meters deep. Surrounded by lovingly landscaped paths, meadows and seating areas, it offers visitors opportunities for relaxation, while swimming and sailing on the lake are prohibited to protect the ecological balance.

Sitting here so quiet, idyllic and surrounded by beautiful nature, with the view wandering over the water, it feels like a day on vacation. And there is always something amazing to discover. Always an experience for children. However, as everywhere, you should respect nature and keep the peace and quiet you want so as not to disturb the anglers. The ponds are easily accessible by bike or on foot, but you can also get there by car. When it's not Corona, the fishing club holds a nice party once a year and invites you to a sociable get-together with delicious, fresh fish.

Parking in the middle of the forest, Overnight in a simple hostel room (with shower / WC) or camping. Top park-like ambience to relax and dream in the evening at the barbecue, the good base for nature tours, ... "in the middle, instead of just there" ...

Shortly before the Wispersee right the paved forest road over Hof Schöneberg to Langschied drive (is signposted). I have never met a car here.
