The district boundaries of Schönborn and Hahnstätten meet on the Ergenstein. There used to be a lookout point here, but it is now overgrown. The Hahnstätter Heimat- und Verschönerungsverein has erected a shelter at this spot. Immediately next to the hut, a path leads to the boundary stone, which is about 150 meters away. Very nice route along the water. There is a rest area with benches at Jammertal. There are generally a few places to sit. You have to expect muddy terrain.

The “Schafsberg local recreation area” was designed as a city park at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. In addition to various huts, such as the "Forest Classroom" or the "Treffpunkt Schafsberg", you can also find the Jewish cemetery of the city of Limburg up there.

The St. Vincenz Hospital Limburg is located on the Schafsberg. There is a beautiful forest here with many places to rest, well-developed paths - a place to relax - great! At this point here is the "meeting point Schafberg", where you can also learn something about the history of the Schafsberg.

It is not necessarily clear that you can rest here. Nice messy mansion with scary sculptures. But if that's the case, then it's worth recharging your batteries here for the carrying passages that follow.
