beautiful cycle path along the Gelbach

The Gelbachtal cycle path is always worth it. If you've had enough of flat riding, you can choose a climb to the right or left.

The Brunnenbach rises near Bremberg, probably in the 12th century. was originally called Brunnenbach. The valley encloses the hill on which the ruins of the Brunnenberg monastery lie, to the east and north, where the Brunnenbach flows into the Lahn. The stream flows down the steep valley over a few stone steps. Conversely, this also means for hikers that you have to go up a very steep valley if you want to get to the monastery ruins.

Paradise for four-legged friends

Shortly after the Quellenhof spring turn left, then you come to this small gorge. I couldn't find the name of the stream, but it is definitely worth seeing, because there are small waterfalls lined up here again and again. Be careful, sometimes the gorge drops very steeply right next to the path. No barriers or railings!
