The Elz Waterfalls are located in the Central Black Forest, southwest of Schonach. The Elz Waterfalls run directly along the U(h)rwaldpfad gourmet trail, which invites you to take a beautiful hike through the High Black Forest.

The upper Elz Falls can be seen when crossing the bridge on the way to the Farnbauernhof

Very idyllic waterfall, which can be reached via a dead-end path without signs, absolutely worth it.

This waterfall is located about 2 kilometers from the train station in Halbmeil. You will look in vain for signs pointing to the waterfall! A path leads directly there. I don't know if the waterfall is called the Grubbächle waterfall - water comes from the Grubhöhe. Couldn't find any further information about this waterfall, not even in Wikipedia Waterfalls in Germany. A visit is definitely worthwhile.
