The little witch's house stands beautifully crooked by the path and is perfect for a rest. Don't worry, no witch will lure you into the cottage. However, you'll find some information on an information board. Right next to the house is a giant witch's broom, which also doubles as a bench. Perhaps you have the right spell to make the broom fly?

Schützenhaus and animal enclosure can be found here with a beautiful view to the west.

The Lautenbacher Hexensteig is a varied but also challenging hiking trail. There are many lovingly designed rest areas and schnapps fountains along the way. At the mountain inn zum Fiesemichel you can strengthen yourself extensively.

A start from Ottenhöfen in the Black Forest, hiking car park at the train station, is our tip. Many designated hiking and biking trails lead you through a beautiful region. You can do the round in both directions. We decided to go counterclockwise. We wanted to do the path along the banks of the Rench at the end.
